Steve’s Story

Site created on March 15, 2020

For those of you that know Steve, he is an incredibly private person.  There are many layers to him but one thing that has always remains important to him is family.  Whether it is his aunts and uncles, his cousins and his nieces and nephews, he loves spending time with family!

Journal entry by Kathy Sipple

This will probably be my last entry on Steve’s Caring Bridge site as he has exceeded all of our expectations and is doing fabulously!  He has no physical residual limitations and his mind is as sharp as ever

He has continued his therapy in Menomonie while staying with our parents during the week.  He probably only has a couple more weeks and will be “cut free” !  He has remained committed to do what he needs to do to get back to his “normal” life and has definitely exceeded those goals.  Amazing to be where he is at given his state just 6 months ago.  What an amazing recovery.

Just wanted all of his family and friends to know that Steve will turn 60 on August 26th and this is certainly a birthday to celebrate for so many reasons.  Please reach out to Steve via email or send him a card at the address noted in earlier post in Menomonie!

So glad to be able to “sign off” under such great circumstances!  Again, we can’t thank everyone enough for all the prayers and support to Steve during this trying time!

Love you all!
