Steve, I can't do much from Arizona except keep you in my heart and sending you positive thoughts. I wish there was more concrete help I could provide! Huge internet (((((hug))))

Steve, I love the thought of you dancing - and the world needs you doing just that! I have no connections to Kaiser, but if a consultation outside of Kaiser is helpful . . . Ronald M. Sato, MD is a wound specialist extraordinaire who used to practice at the former Brookside Hospital. I believe he still practices at 2089 Vale Road in San Pablo. He was my mother's doctor for many years and she eventually healed under his care. In the process, I learned to cook with no salt. All that to say, would you like some homemade roasted butternut soup with no salt? I can deliver tomorrow. - Jan
If it would make a difference I can send lots of photos of the amazing art here in Mexico. It's an area lush with color. Art in any form, whether while creating or observing, reduces the stress hormone called cortisol. It also releases the feel-good hormones called endorphins which helps you combat stress and pain. I can't bring soup but I'm happy to send art.
Winthrop, what time is it! My Brother so sorry to hear you not out there dancing, but keep your smile and good wit. I will keep you in my daily prayers, May the Peace and Blessings of the Almighty Be Upon you.
Steve, this is disturbing news. We'll be rooting for you. Unfortunately, we don't have any connections for hyperbaric oxygen treatments at this point. But we CAN bring chicken and some produce, and will do so very soon.
