Dad is continuing to get better day by day. Took him to his follow up appointment for infection on Monday. They said everything looks good and wound will probably take couple more weeks to heal completely.  Still has feeding tube until he sees the speech/swallow therapist to evaluate how he can swallow and eat soft diet on his own. Probably couple more weeks. He has consultation tomorrow with the radiation and chemo doctors. Main thing right now is to get him started on radiation ASAP .
