How good to hear you are back to ordinary life. But in a way. Cancer changes a lifestyle. And it's not always in a negative way.
We are still on the cancer road. It will be our way of living probably for always. I consider myself in remission because my tests come back great. Clary's cancer metastasized to his liver immediately. Chemo is keeping it under control. Or rather God is through chemo. We live a fairly mundane life with cancer. We're doing well and getting really old. We've learned so much about God and His grace and mercy and peace it is amazing. And delightful to rest in Him. We love you and pray for continued health.
It's so wonderful to hear that you are living an "ordinary" beautiful life. We praise God for what He has done to restore you, sweet Stephanie. Sending lots of love. (I'm Christine Ingebretson's mom and we have prayed for you MUCH!)
Thank you for sharing. We continue to thank God for your good health and ability to do even the mundane. Cherish your family and each moment. God is our constant rock! Have a Merry Christmas! Love, Scott and Denise
Thanks Stephanie. We often wonder how prayers are answered. We want to measure them based on outcomes. I am so grateful for your ongoing recovery. But I think the way we measure them is via the grace that you have been given and that you give the rest of us in the love you extend
"The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight" means more to me all the time. You got a head start on appreciating the transiency of life. Thanks for sharing your deep wisdom. Praying for ongoing health and flourishing for you.
Yes, prayers will continue for each of you. Cancer, once it enters your life never leaves it. even if you get an all clear. It’s just the way it is, but through it all a person either grows closer to God the Father, Son and Spirit or they leave their faith behind. But the one fact is God never leaves us. Blessings on you!
Your words, Stephanie, are a gift to us. We rejoice and give thanks for the Lord's evident faithfulness to you and your family in this past year, and join others in continuing to pray for you.
It is such a blessing to see you grow stronger and stronger with each day. It is so good to see you when you pick the boys up from school. It reminds my heart that we have an awesome God and there is nothing he can not do.
