Journal entry by Amy Delaney

Good morning, all!  It has been a wild ride the past couple months and more so this week. We wish you all safety and health during this craziest of crazy times. Since our last post, Stephanie has been doing well. She and her family having been quarantined more so than they were before due to COVID19. She has kept up with her chemo plans. Barnes Jewish has been a lockdown city for people going there which is simply amazing. Her Siteman building is essentially blocked off from other parts of the hospital.

The last cycle is tough as it is a repeat of her first cycle. She is tired and her immune is low. This week, she was admitted to Barnes when her cultures came back positive for staph infection. This is not uncommon. She has been there since Wednesday. Hopes to come home today or tomorrow. Her cultures since have been clean. She can’t have any visitors and while that is hard, I am thankful Barnes has been so very cautious. She nor Molly can NOT get sick. Dan and Nick and our whole family have taken so many precautions to ensure their health.

Continue your amazing prayers. They are working.

Today is Molly’s annual walk for Cystic Fibrosis with the Great Strides organization. Although it was cancelled due to COVID19, I walk in the name of my niece! Join me today and walk for #MilesForMolly and #MoranCan. Flood Stephanie’s FB page about her journey “View from My Penthouse at Siteman.” Use the #s above. I want to flood social media with support for Molly’s team since my sister couldn’t be a part of it this year! Let’s help her out. Join me?
