Our love and prayers continue for your beautiful family Paul. I only met you a few times but Stephanie was a big part of our life at TLC and in my childrens lives. She was an inspiration in so many ways and my two kids adored her. She was the real deal...when you met her and talked to her, you knew she was doing what she was meant to do...she was an amazing Pastor and any conversation I had with her was just inspiring honestly. You could tell she felt so called to do the work she did and that reflected on all of the people around her that loved her so. When I think of what being a genuine person really means...she comes to mind everytime. She left this earth well before her time and although I'll never understand tragedy when it happens, I do know she is guiding your family somehow but honestly, she should be here to see her babies off to kindergarten. I'm so so sorry Paul for all the sadness and I do hope each passing day brings healing and peace. Stephanie will always be remembered...she was just a one of a kind person. This was a wonderful post to read and so appreciated as we love hearing updates on your family. Prayers continue for strength and healing for you and your family. Julie Diedrich

Paul, you and your family are thought of with prayer and thanksgiving, and, yes, sadness, too. Your message is full of faith, hope, and love. Your grief and love for Stephanie is real, powerful, and touching. The Lord Jesus Christ bless you and keep you as you move forward, giving thanks for Stephanie and all that she stood for, and walking forward with Madeline, August, and Miles.

Dear Paul and family, I think of Stephanie frequently, my heart aches and then I pray. Stephanie visited me when I was in rehab and it felt so loving to have her do that for me.
Where love is, there is Jesus and Stephanie was so good at giving that love. I am blessed to have known her. Thank you Paul for sharing the news of the children.

Paul~ Thank you for sharing this beautifully written and authentic tribute. Your positivity, gratitude, and faith never cease to amaze me ~ it's no wonder you and Stephanie found and loved each other beyond measure.
It's hard to believe Madeline & August are starting Kindergarten, it seems like yesterday when Stephanie was sharing the wonderful news of her pregnancy! Walking with you two on that journey will hold a special place in my heart; especially cherishing the afternoon I spent with Stephanie & the babies when she made us lunch and was so happy about "the perfectly ripe avocado". Best avocado memory ever.

Coltvet Family and all ~ You continue to remain in my thoughts and prayers, very much so over the past couple of weeks. May the JOY of Stephanie's spirit live on in your hearts forever.
Peace and love ~

I think and pray for you, your children and your extended family often. I cherish Stephanie’s visits and our prayers together as I continue my journey living with MS. I appreciate the opportunity to and look forward to reflect and honor Stephanie at ECLC .

You and I have something in common...Lutheran childhood in Trail County, North Dakota. Hillsboro was the big city when compared to Galesburg.
