I'm very sorry to hear this. Thank you Brittany for doing this caring bridge to keep everyone updated. I especially appreciate this living in Germany. My heart hurts for all of you. I really enjoyed having Stan for a teacher, especially computers and typing. I remember him as having a smile, being friendly, and kind. Wish we could make the services, but know that we will keep all of your family in our thoughts and prayers. Hugs and much love to all of you during this difficult time.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss, Joyce, Brooke, Brittany, and family. I can’t even begin to express the sadness in my heart for all of you as you have had to go through such a difficult journey with an unhappy outcome. Stan was such a kind man. I always enjoyed the conversations we had and his sweet smile. My prayers will continue for you all in the days ahead. God bless you and keep you in his loving arms.
So sad to hear of your loss. I am so sad for your breaking hearts. No words can ease your pain. Know that we morn his loss. My daughter Jennifer Ketterling Lang was remembering her last conversation with Stan. At my father's funeral Jen said she told Stan that she remembered him as her teacher- PE I believe. He had told her that she was a peacemaker in the class. She was humbled by his evaluation of her. I believe it is something she wanted to live up to. He left his make in her life.
