I have been praying for months not knowing of Sr Ann's Nov 2018 stroke only that previous episodes were being cycled in place of her presence. When I listened last week hearing her return I was filled with joy. I could hear change in her voice and today learned of the Nov event. Continued prayers for you Sister, so thankful for your healing, recovery and return.

Just so happened to be happily listening to Ave Maria Radio 990 AM right before 11:30 AM today fortunately and low and Behold Sr Ann Shields was back - live and in-person on the air! Couldn't believe what was happening, however, sure enough, there was the beautiful mellifluous live voice of Sr Ann encouraging and professing the Word Of God from today's Scripture Readings. Finally recognizing this was true after such a long wait, however, enjoyable none-the-less, we rejoiced inside what we had envisioned and been promised was fulfilled at last. God be with you Sr Ann and glad you're back on track proclaiming the Word in the most fervent unique gift given only to you in that very special way you proclaim - like a brisk walk with Jesus through Mary on the Narrow Path. So we dedicated the Mass @ Old St Mary's, Greektown, Detroit in our heart to Sr Ann of course as well as our Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet afterward. Welcome Back/So Be It. May your health continue to make you stronger, wiser, and happier [...].

Dear Sr. Ann:

When news arrived of your current medical dilemma, I was at first shocked like so many, but then I sensed the deep-seated desire to pray for you as a parade of Saints came marching through. These all suffered some sort of medical setback, but the fruit they bore out of love for Christ enlightened the world! You've been doing that for sometime now and I suspect that He's not through with you here among us that benefit from His Light reflected through you. Thank you Sr. Ann and be assured of the prayers of the faithful.
