Hello Everyone,
It has been quite some time since we have sent any updates on Sami and I have had many people asking how she is doing.  I recently had a co-worker's Godson Jake get diagnosed with the same cancer Sami has and it brought me back to when we started this journey on August 13, 2021.  Wow that seems so long ago.
I am happy to announce that Sami is still in remission and is back to work part time at West Michigan Dermatology Monday thru Wednesday.  She is SO EXCITED to be back to some sort of routine.  WMD has been so amazing and patient with her through this entire journey and we are so grateful for the whole team there that welcomed her back with so much love.  
Sami still has all of 2023 to continue monthly treatments while they work on "killing the roots" so that this never comes back.  She also is taking daily chemo and still struggles with random nausea and vomiting but that is something she has learned to live with.  I am so proud to have her as my daughter and do not know where I would be without her keeping me moving forward myself every day.  We have spent some precious times together and both have grown so much this past year and a half.  Thank you for following her story and encouraging us along the way.
