10/3/23 I stopped by Sonja's caring bridge site for a little re-read this evening. Thanks for the closing thoughts you shared those months ago, Harvey. So precious! Such a loving tribute and wonderful word picture of the day in CT, honoring Sonja and laying her tent to rest. Sonja's life was bold and brave, fun and friendly, loving and such a leader, outgoing and orange-loving, super smart and a saint. Thank you Sonja Payne. <3 Thank you Payne family. <3

Harvey, thank you for sharing so much of Sonja with us and your innermost thoughts. You're right, it isn't supposed to be like this. So much of this world isn't supposed to be like this, as Sonja knew so well. She worked tirelessly to try to right the imbalance and share God's love. What a lasting legacy she leaves. Randy and I continue to pray for your family knowing the grief is great.

Harvey you have such a talent of pulling the reader into your writing. Thank you for sharing these special moments. I imagined you both in deep thought walking across the road in your orange attire on that chilly sunny day. For not personally knowing Sonja, I have learned so much about her, what an amazing woman who surely has left her mark on this earth. Her work here will continue to grow as witnessed by so many. I do continue to pray for you both, to find comfort knowing she is with Jesus and surrounded by angels. I pray each beautiful memory of your amazing daughter will surround you with sweet comfort and peace. Hugs

You all have been in my thoughts and prayers lately. So has Sonja. I miss the times we would have had with her, and regret that distance prevented us spending more time with her in the past.
