Journal entry by Katee Soltau —
Yes, you read that correctly.... Wesley is officially in Remission!
In July, Wes met with his team of doctors after his scans and sitting there he, along with Jason and Kindra, were told the amazing news! He had his port removed a few weeks after the "all clear" news was given. Wesley will continue to meet with his team of doctors at Mayo and have routine scans so please keep sending the prayers and well wishes for continued remission! Wes has been able to enjoy his summer with friends and family, and has been cleared to play football this fall! Wes is looking forward to his senior year of high school! We want to thank everyone for your continued, constant support!
We are continuing to work on a video collection for Wesley's journey through Hodgkin's Lymphoma. If you would like to send any photos or videos, we want to add as many as we can! For those of you who haven't seen the video, here is the first version... it has since been extended but not yet published. (I will work on getting that out soon!!
Please send submissions to Katee at 507-696-3132 or kssoltau@gmail.com
We continue to celebrate Wesley and all he has accomplished through this battle! As well as celebrating Jason, Kindra, and Peyton as they have been so strong through this whole journey!
