Stephen. I really looked forward to being at your party, but the meeting for business went very long and I had other commitments after that so forgot the time until it was too late.

But , you were in my thoughts and prayers. I hold you in the Light every day and hope that your health improves day by day. You are probably right now in the worst of it with both chemo and radiation. May that go well, better than presently and may you soon see the other side of this tunnel.

I send you the love and care of the universe and the Love and Care of the one who if Love, that you may be well as soon as possible.
Take courage , much love,
martha

Thanks for the update David. I was not able to participate in the birthday party but of course Sent wishes for all good things. Especially healing. Stephen and I did our clerkships together at the CA Supreme Court many moons ago. We have stayed fast friends all these years and I love and admire him still. Please give him a remote hug when you talk with him. 💚

For Stephen and David - many years ago, possibly back in the 70s, your parents asked me if I would like to come to Nelitta with my two little boys and pet-sit while all of you went to Ashland for a week or ten days in August. We were thrilled: it was like being given a week at an Italian villa with a bocce ball lawn as well as the beach. What could be better? I think there may have been a couple of friends of yours there also at the time - we arrived in the evening, you were leaving in the morning ,and I had brought food for us for the whole stay. You boys went racing out to my car to bring our things in: bags of groceries and such. I will never forget - there you were, so very tall, and gentle and kind, and my little boys looked up at the clutch of you as though you were munificent totem poles! They thought they had seen walking gods. And perhaps they had.
Thank you for posting for Stephen this weekend, and thank you for being there.

Thank you so much for the update. Stephen's silence was worrisome but not unexpected. Holding him in the light. Stephen was a facilitator in my T4F, and I did my first prison workshop with him in Chowchilla. I think I'm not the only one who admires him for his AVP style, but also for living what he believes. I usually see him during the Fall Gatherings. He is one of my heroes.
