Thank you so much for the update. Stephen's silence was worrisome but not unexpected. Holding him in the light. Stephen was a facilitator in my T4F, and I did my first prison workshop with him in Chowchilla. I think I'm not the only one who admires him for his AVP style, but also for living what he believes. I usually see him during the Fall Gatherings. He is one of my heroes.

David, thank you for the update and belated Happy Birthday to Stephen! He and I share a birthday, something we usually remind each other of every year, but this year we had other things on our minds. Please let him know I’m thinking of him and praying for his health and holding him close to my heart. Big virtual hugs! Laura

Thank you, David, for your detailed journal entry on behalf of Stephen.
In addition to being a fellow Quaker, and hanging with him a bit at meal times at Annual Gathering, I did two of my AVP trainings with Stephen as the Lead Facilitator...one with ex-prisoners HIV-positive, and one in the Chowchilla Women's Prison.
I have feel greatly blessed by being able to see, feel, and learn from, the many aspects of his blessed person-hood.
Love, Lee

Hello David,
So good of you to be here on Stephen's behalf. The last messages about a different way to connect didn't work for me, so hope we can continue here.

Hey Stephen,
I think your good cheer and positive reports lulled me into an optimism that down-played the seriousness of your medical status. I'm glad your Birthday was "televised" so you can go back to it any time you fancy a lot of loving coming your way. All eight hours of it! Maybe best in small doses. Do you remember the Shel Silverstein poem about Little Melinda May who Ate the Whale? "She ate that whale one bite at a time because she said she would." I have all the faith in the world you'll get through the whole eight hours.
Best hugs, Pam

Dear, dear friend, Friend Stephen, We are still here, remembering you morning, noon and night with our love
and prayers. You are surrounded in spirit by all who know what you are going through. I wish I were there to lay
my healing hands on you but I do it through the air, nevertheless. May you feel the presence of the divine.
All our love,
Sue and Tom Rickert

Appreciate the update David, thank you. Glad to hear that Stephen 'dodged a bullet' and that he is somewhat stabilized now. Also thankful to hear that the care team surrounding him seems to be doing a good job. Keeping Stephen in my prayers and sending much love.
