Stephen, I just found out yesterday. I'm sorry that you are going through this trial in life. I was glad to hear that it wasn't GBM. My father had GBM which was not kind to him or our family. You've always been so kind to me. My family & I will pray for you and your family and continue to hold you close to our hearts.

Stephen, Thanks for keeping all of us in the loop. You are not as unique as you think. I also got the COVID 19 test when I was in the hospital and at least at that time officially did not have it. So we are fellow travelers. Glad you are feeling our love. We keep your candle lit and hopefully sending loving healing your way.
Peace and love,
David and Jan

Stephen, you pull off the do with panache.
Though you are such a true light in the world, sending more Light to surround you.

Hi new paragraph you are going to start a rugged regiment not easy. I belong to a cancer support group and each person is different and how they take to radiation and chemo. You are hardly recognizable without your hair but you'll soon have it back I'm sure.

Baldness runs in my family and I have two nephews who were bald young. They had both baldness and both sides of the family. It is a real challenge when are you young. One of them shaves his head completely and it still is quite handsome. At least I think so and so does his wife.

May the radiation go well for you and may it do the work it needs to do.

I have carpal tunnel so I am taking prednisone, at a steroid would never in my life have I ever thought of doing. So life and health don't always come the right way for some of us. But it is good to remember that we are not the only one in the world who has this challenge and perhaps they are not as well off as we are. That is a Buddhist way of thinking about difficulty. Buddhist think suffering is the way you accept what comes at you. In other words you choose to suffer because you do not know or believe or accept that life comes with the up and the down the good in the bad Etc.

Enough of those sermons.

Just know we hold you in the light and hope for your rapid return to Total Health.

Much peace Martha

You look quite scholarly! So sorry you will be separated from your dedicated...and favorite...nurse. But you will have your new ones eating out of your hand soon(!)

It’s nice of you to leave a photo of that man you’ve met in the hospital.
You are on a journey into another world. Is radiation treatment the carbon treatment? Do you know where they are pointing it?
I am impressed that you were going into this with such an open mind.
You are in my thoughts. Suzy Clarke

Hi, Stephen: I am not usually a fan of such short haircuts, but you look really, really good! Kudos to you and the "barber." Also, as an RN, I love the phrase "niceness offensive played just right" and am going to add that to my list of great quotes about health care staff. Thank you!
