So glad you've been connected with palliative care and have an amazing connection with your PC nurse as well! Yes, completing an updated advance directive Iand sharing with our primary care doc/provider, our health care agent/s and everyone who can possibly show up at our bedside!) is something we all need to be doing right now; glad they're on top of that as well. Sounds like you've got an excellent care team--very reassuring!
QEW Steering Committee Meeting was Thursday eve through this afternoon on Zoom rather than in Durham. The Zoom format allowed far more Friends to join us than ever before, including many new to QEW meetings and some returning after a long absence. It was great and we all held you in the Light--so coming at you from all over the continent!

Dear Stephen - great to see you today. I just read your last post, and actually you are the second person I know to be declared covid-free. The first was one of my "flock" on 9th Street last Wednesday, who proudly showed me papers from the hospital (and I could guess why he was there when he pointed out the discharge instruction, "don't use crack cocaine"!) that certified him covid-free and MHRSA-free as well. Dear Stephen, it’s so good to join your ‘club’ of supporters! 🥰 Thanks for the update. You have such strength and determination along with all of us strong supporters and your medical professionals, so you’re in good hands. Over here in Alameda in the East Bay, there’s been beautiful spring sunshine... so it’s easy to hold you in that light.🌞 At Crab 🦀 Cove, the smallest East Bay Regional Park located right across the fence from my condo, there’s a small pond with new and noisy life! There are several families of geese with the cutest babies ever. In the koi pond at my condos, there’s a mama duck with six little ducklings following her around. 🦆 Perhaps I can figure out how to post pictures and videos to cheer you! In the meantime, may the rebirth of nature give you courage and hope at this difficult time! Sending love... and hopefully a few pictures in the future! ❤️ P.S.
