Dear Stephen. Because of the time difference and my early go-to-bed time, I usually find your updates waiting for me each morning when I awaken. It's great to start my day thinking of you. I especially appreciated yesterday's. Your descriptions of your experiences help me feel like we are not so far apart. We may be on opposite sides of the country, but I feel , and have felt this for a long time during our friendship, that our spirits are definitely closely connected. Keep improving, my dear friend. Sending love.

Oh Stephen, great minds think alike -- never have figured out the strategy of being mean to the people who are taking care of you and on whom your life depends .... But you see it all that time. And also have never figured out why the people with the worse bedside manner are more often than not skilled surgeons. Why is that? Oh middle of the night here and thinking of you and the world and all of your many friends supporting you. Praying for light (sorta like the amazing moonlight this tonight. Love, John

Wonderful Messages, Stephen( of course anything is better than COVID statistics.(just teasing, of course). And really, since we all sheltering in place, our lives are like yours without the therapies or attention.

An update on my household; I could do with your charm patrol. Right now, here souls are a little grumpy sometimes. Both my granddaughters are here: Isabel’s college closed for the term and all her work is on line. Adeline lost her job. Their Dad, Jason, also lost his job right before the outbreak when his company went bankrupt. Thank goodness I am retired. Maybe I will need to return to work; my retirement account is in the dumps. I have no idea what I would do, so I will ignore the entire predicament as long as I can.

Actually, given the circumstances, we are doing pretty well most of the time. And time is what we have! With AVP suspended, we have puzzles, music, books, and they watch TV. I read or occasionally watch an movie on my laptop. Somedays, I don’t even change from my pjs (the horror).

Take care and keep reporting. I too am headed to sleep.

Love to you and continued prayers,

Lydia
