As you do this daily marathon of OT, PT, ST, I'm remembering the comment of a friend who has been disabled by cerebral palsy his whole life. He referred the rest of us as TABs (Temporarily Able Bodied) people and it has left me with the awareness that any one of us can lose what we have now in an instant. Sometimes we can gain back the losses and sometimes we must learn to live with our diminishments. Watching my mother has been another huge lesson about TABs. There is not doubt that hard work and determination are a big piece of the picture and certainly you have a big dose of both of those dear one. Sending love, Mico
