I just read this in our paper this morning. Maybe you know it. It's attributed to Dr. Seuss (fitting): "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." You know this already. You've learned this a hundred, thousand times already. You try for it again and again and again, I'm sure. That's Sloane's spirit filling you when you achieve it, if only for a moment. Puddle on, dear Sarah. Some day Sloane's spirit will abide in you more everlastingly.
