I’m writing this while taking a quick break from getting things ready for my mom to come home. First thing is she’ll be home by 5pm tonight, which she is extremely happy about. Second thing is her kidneys have been functioning on their own without dialysis for a week now and her kidney function levels are still improving on their own which means no more dialysis for now. She is able to eat actual food now which is great. We still have a long road ahead but at least she is able to come home.
