I’m so sorry that the world has lost this precious soul. Sig made a difference in so many lives. I’m grateful to have known her, to have worked with her, and I’m grateful for her loved ones that you had this time together to share and say goodbye. Sending you wishes for peace and consolation at this sad time.
Love, Mary

I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mom was my choir director at St. Olaf, and she was such an amazing person, meant so much to all of us. Praying for your family during this time. Karen ‘01

I am SO sorry to learn of Sig's passing! I had no idea. She and I sat next to each other in the Concert Choir at Concordia...I was always amazed at her perfect pitch and her musicality...I still am so blessed that I experienced her extraordinary musicianship, vitality, passion for music and dedication to hard work to make the music magic happen. Her beautiful spirit lives on in her family and in the hearts of all who have known and love her. God's peace be with all of you.

So sorry for your loss Andrew, Peter and the whole Nelson/Johnson family. I told your uncle Greg that Sigrid was so much like a big sister to me from all of our years together in the Dale Warland Singers and in VocalEssence. Some of my happiest life memories have Sigrid in them. She conducted a wonderful choir at our wedding 33 years ago. Sigrid was definitely a one-of-a-kind, Designer original. Fortunately, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. ✝️ But, her absence is keenly felt, and more so for all of you. I’m glad that she is with BJ, and I look forward to singing with her again someday. 💔 May God bless you and love on you all as you remember, grieve, celebrate her life (and laugh - she loved doing that, right?) without any "gloom and doom". Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." She was indeed precious. ❤️]
