Melody's recounting of the surprise, joy, and disbelief is how so many of us felt and why I just call you"Lazarus Lady" when I tell your story to friends! Praise God!!!

Shirley,
Your story still fascinates me every time I stop and really think about it. I keep saying it feels so right and ordinary that you are home...but really it is extraordinary. I remember your family taking videos when we visited the day before you sang and thinking they were trying to save little pieces of you that would soon be all they had left. What a gift that you are here to hear and see the recordings and watch your story yourself.
