Mom is safely back in Morganton. We tried VERY HARD to get her to stay with us but to no avail. She was a wonderful addition to the family, and Allen and I along with grand-cats Maggie, Maui and especially Tori will miss her very, very much. Of course we are very happy with the outcome of the procedures.
We got her moved into our house there (which is basically on the same piece of property as hers) so she can have a walk-in shower. We also moved her sweet cat Becky there as well, so they are both settling in. We do not have a landline at that house but she has her cell phones. She can also go to her house to get messages from the answering machine. She doesn’t hear as well on the cell phone so we didn’t want anyone to get worried if she doesn’t answer. Having said that, the phone numbers and their “purposes” are below.

She won’t be driving for awhile, but we got her plenty of groceries before we left. Also her neighbor as well as Allen’s brothers are going to keep check on her.
