With heavy hearts we are sharing that our mom passed away this afternoon. After over 3 weeks of stay in the ICU her body wasn’t strong enough to recover from her start with a coronary embolism, discovering  blood clots in her brain, small intestine and lungs, and failing organs. She put up a fight we are proud of and opened her eyes for us this weekend to spend moments filled with winks, eye rolls and chuckling just like old times.
