Happy Mother’s Day!! And what a blessed one it was! We have so much to celebrate, as mom’s last Radiation Simulation was on Friday. She is now done with her cancer procedures and is in the healing stage. She will have follow up scans in a few weeks, but the radiologist said he no longer sees the tumor. Please continue to pray for clear scans! The doctors told her that she was a “perfect patient”. She really sailed through this and is a true warrior. I admire her strength and perseverance. 

I’m so grateful that mom was with me today at church and lunch afterwards. We tend to take moments for granted, and each year celebrating our mothers is a gift in itself. I hope everyone got to hug their moms today or if you couldn’t be near her, I hope you picked up the phone and heard her voice. Cherish these days, because we never know what tomorrow may bring.
