Dear Mollie and Liza, we have learned this week daddy's flight to join Sherry.
This was an enormous shock for us. I have talked with John when he left Vancouver to turn back to San Antonio.
Our thoughts go to you two, Liza and Mollie, for your new life without your parents. You were so tightly linked.
I keep the picture of your family on my desk, a memory of happy years.
We kiss you both and hope some on our mail box claude.bruhin83@gmail.com

Dear Mollie and Liza -- your dad was a genuinely amazing man and a terrific friend, and your obit is a wonderful tribute to him. I'm thinking of you - and missing my friend. Beaming thoughts and prayers and all best wishes, Ian

Dearest Liza and Mollie,
Thank you for this update and for sharing the beautiful obituary you wrote for your father. He was an extraordinary human being -- one who improved the lives of many through his commitment to children, the arts, access to healthcare, and social justice. Ralph and I will be unable to be in San Antonio to attend the service you have planned to celebrate your dad's well-lived life, but we will most certainly livestream it. We deeply treasure the friendship we had with both your parents, and are much richer for having known them. With much affection, Penny Holcomb (Lake Oswego, OR)
