Journal entry by Lisa Warbrick

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beloved sister Sheri on Monday, August 19th. Dave and my parents were lovingly by her bedside and I believe Sheri felt additional peace knowing that her daughters, Clara and Christina, were with me, Wendy and their cousins in California.

Sheri fought till the end with an unyielding grace and dignity, rarely complaining, even though the pain was apparent and visible.

We are grateful for the wonderful care she received at Providence Marionwood over the last eight months where she was a favorite among the staff and residents and where she fervently grew in her spiritual faith - attending weekly hymn singing, rosary, bible studies and mass. It meant so much to her when one of the pastors recently said to her, “you are someone who is filled with the Holy Spirit”.

I would like to especially thank all of you for the deep love and care you showed my sister Sheri and her family through your prayers, meals, cards, visits, overall support and especially the chocolate shakes she loved. You will never know how much that meant to us.

Services will be held at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1121 228th Ave SE, Sammamish WA 98075 on Friday, August 30th at 11:00 with a short reception at the church afterward.  There will be a vigil the night before at 6:00 in the small chapel of the church. Flowers can be sent to the church on Thursday or Friday morning.
