To the Armstrong family. I am so sorry to hear the news of Shelly ‘s passing. She was a superb wife, wonderful mom and a loving Grandmother. She is not in pain anymore and is now with Jesus. I pray for all of you to stay strong ( and I know you all will) and to remember her positive life and that beautiful smile. God bless you all.

One of my neighbors is a day care provider. Earlier today I was watching as a dad came to pick up his child. The little girl came gleefully running out with her arms stretched out calling "Daddy, Daddy!" He of course, scooped her up and held her close. It was precious and joyous. Right away I thought of Shelly (as I have so often these past weeks), knowing that when the time came she would joyfully run to the loving arms of our heavenly Father, knowing she was Home, forever safe, forever at peace. To Keith, and all the family - my deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers for comfort, strength and peace.

Will miss you my sweet special friend. Your Heavenly Father has welcomed you with open arms. We will see each other again.

Derek, what a sweet post and I am so thankful Shelly was surrounded by her family. It is a celebration and also difficult for all of us left behind to imagine our time here on Earth without her.
