Journal entry by Tiffani Youngvorst

Shell is doing well. She had her GTube removed Thursday. She is eating a soft and bite sized diet and regular liquids now! She really enjoyed her first cup of coffee!
Friday Shell went to visit the assisted living facility in Shakopee we were planning on her going to in the next week or 2 and unfortunately it isn’t going to work out. 😞 The hallways are too narrow for her wheel chair to get through and the temporary ramps they have outside to get in the building are very steep so she wouldn’t be able to get in and out herself. So we have been on the hunt for another facility. She has her eye on another one also in Shakopee, it’s just a matter of if/when they have any open beds and if the tour goes well. So we are looking at 2-3 weeks for discharge from Courage Kenny TRU. 🤞🙏🏼
