I just got the information today from your daughter T and she will call me tonight. I met Dan and Shelli when my son and I moved next-door to them and I believe that was in 97. All I can say at this moment is that I am angry at myself for not updating all my info so that they could’ve contacted me. Shelli and I communicated on messenger in February and talked about getting together this summer and all the cool things they have been doing. My heart is aching right now I’ll never see her again. I want the Kelly family to know that I am thinking of you all and praying .

As a kidney transplant recipient, I can tell you first hand what an absolutely wonderful gift organ donation is. Shelli's generosity and selflessness will help so many we better and longer lives.

My wife Abby worked with Shelli for nearly five years up until about two months ago. In that two months, she and Shelli spoke nearly every day. Sometimes about work this & that, but mostly about life and travel. Abby even spoke to her the day of this tragic accident. Both of us, among so many others, are speechless and heartbroken. We’re praying for peace in the hearts and minds of everyone who got the gift to know Shelli. Rest In Peace.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our home is near Shelli and Dan’s home. We will miss seeing her around the neighborhood. We are praying for all of you. May God fill your hearts with His comfort and peace. Her final gift to others is greatly honored.

Just wanted to give my condolences to the family. Such a heartbreaking story. My heart breaks for you. I too suffered a great loss in the last two weeks...my child’s mother died in a house fire in Bena Minneasota. My 14 y/o daughter was out of the house and watched it burn down. She tried to go back in but was already an inferno. The fire was started by the wood stove. I just share this to say l understand that pain of loss and my heart is with you.

My prayers are with you all. Shelli’s gift is the ultimate one. We took the same walk with my 47 year old sister years ago. She died unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm. Later, we received a letter that told of every person who benefited. From her corneas, lungs, heart, liver, etc. it was something we have cherished ever since. Bless you and thank you.

Dear family of Shelli, I have been following this site since I heard about this awful accident a little over a week now. Praying for all of you during this heart wrenching time. I do want to share that I am a double lung transplant recipient - 6 1/2 years post-transplant. My underlying disease is cystic fibrosis. My donor is my hero; a hero I will never meet. I can breathe so freely now because of this selfless gift from a wonderful lady. I try to honor my donor (Jasmine) every day. I met my donor's father and family three years ago in person. Before that we wrote letters back and forth. What an incredible blessing it was to be able to communicate. I want you to know Shelli is going to be a HERO to the recipients and their families and friends, who receive the gift of life from Shelli. Transplant is so bittersweet. May God Bless you all.
