Obituary for Shelley Y Snyder

We regretfully announce the passing of Shelley Yvonne Snyder of Fairfield, PA on April 5, 2021.  Shelley was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Our mother, Shelley was one of the most honest, loyal and tenacious women to ever walk this earth, and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family.

Shelley graduated from Marple Newtown High School in 1965. In 1966, Shelley Brown married Robert A. Snyder and together they went on to have 3 children. Shelley was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. In 1999, she remarried Paul D. Wiles and they lived happily together up until she passed away.

Shelley was predeceased by father Arthur Brown, mother Vietta (Kellow) Brown, brother Jerry Brown, and her son James Snyder. She is survived by husband Paul Wiles; sons Eric and Andy Snyder;  sister Sarah  Demas; brother Arthur Brown; grandkids Devan, Stone, Avery, Emma, Nate, Reagan, Johannah, and Tori Snyder; daughter-in-laws Heather and Dawn Snyder; nieces Stephanie Shaner, Samantha Canestro, Allison Jasper, Debby Brown; and nephew Steven Brown.

Please consider a donation in Shelley’s name to Amedisys Foundation and send it to 984 Loucks Rd, Suite 1, York, PA 17404 as this organization was important to her.

A memorial service will be held on May 14th at 4 pm.  This event will be held outside rain or shine. Service will be followed by refreshments.
