Sheila’s Story

Site created on November 6, 2020

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Sheila was involved in a car accident on November 4th on the North side of Rochester.  A vehicle traveling 70 mph ran a red light and hit Sheila's car on the driver's side.  She suffered a broken neck and her beloved dog Hazel died.  She has many people keeping her in their thoughts and prayers.  It is very much appreciated.

Journal entry by Eric Franck

Today was Sheila's first day of outpatient Occupational and Physical Therapy.  After one session of PT she tested out with normal balance and stepping over obstacles while walking, no more PT! She will be going weekly to OT and will continue to work on gaining strength and mobility of her arms and hands.  We celebrated with a hike out in the woods and Sheila took a short drive on the driveway in her new car, she loves it!
