Hi Kathi, just reading this now. Think about you often, offering you all the strength and comfort in your fight. Shay's service was recorded, but you can imagine how disappointed I was to learn three days later, that the audio was inaudible. The church has made some recent efforts to re-record and dub for those who couldn't make it. I feel terrible I didn't put the reminder out there a week/days before, but was overcome with grief and widow fog. Other than that very major component, I thought the ceremony went well with some of Shay's favorite songs played acoustically and sung by a guy from the local twin cities scene here and Ryan shared a couple readings. Our boys each shared a scripture with the crowd which was adorable and I'm just so proud of how well they pulled that off - twice! Hopefully the team at Trinity is successful at dubbing the service so you and so many others can catch a glimpse. I was really wishing the boys and I could look back on it for years to come. I was also really looking forward to sharing it on his Facebook page with a big thank you to those of you who have been with us in spirit and in truth throughout this journey. ❤
