I haven’t updated anything lately, but since we have been home, Shawn has made great progress. His face is pretty much healed as is his right ear. The left ear is still healing but is looking better. His left hand has graduated from using the Medi-honey/Bacitracin combo to just moisturizing lotion and his glove. His right hand has improved to move from the Silvadene cream to the Medi-honey/Baci combo and a glove. He has been to the shop, that was one of his biggest struggles since coming home, but he did it. He has to be one of the strongest men I have ever know, both physically and mentally. Watching him go through this has been such an inspiration. His strength and courage are incredible!
I will never be able to say this enough - or find the right words to say how very THANKFUL we are to all of our amazing friends and families for the support, the calls, texts, messages, all of the help, and most of all, the love that you have given us throughout all of this journey!! Shawn and I are so very blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people! We love you all!!!! From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!!!!! 🙏🏼❤️
