Wanted to keep everyone in the loop regarding Shawn’s progress. This past week he accomplished a number of firsts and we are so proud of him!

Last weekend we took the three hour trip to support our daughter Ana during her participation in the JMU student conference. We also spent some quality time with her during Family Weekend.

On Monday Shawn returned to work part time (4 hour days). While, he enjoyed returning and most were overjoyed to see him, we found that he still tires even with limited activity and requires rest by late evening. 

This weekend the family ventured to William & Mary for homecoming. We limited our attendance to the football game. As if losing the game to JMU was not enough, we found that the crowd and associated noise were a bit much for Shawn, and so we called it an early evening.

This morning Shawn served as our 8AM worship leader at Ivy. What a joy for us all to experience him ushering us into worship. He was also able to participate in Clergy Appreciation month acknowledgements.

Well, it’s Sunday evening now, and we are resting and preparing for the week. We praise God for the continued restoration of Shawn’s health and for keeping our family. We also praise Him for the continuous prayers of family, friends, and associates. Thank You Father God, our Jehovah Rapha!
