I am so very sorry for your loss! Shawn was an awesome young man! May God comfort you and the entire family during this sad and difficult time.
I worked with his Mom years ago and my Mom did daycare so when Shawn was born he went to her daycare. I am sure my Mom was one of many that hugged him when he entered Heaven’s gates!
Prayers for all of Shawn's family and friends. He will be missed!!! I recently lost a friend to cancer at age 37. One of the pastors who spoke at the funeral said something that stuck with me. The biggest question we all ask...is why? Why would God take someone so young and so loved. He said we can go down that rabbit hole as many times as we want...but we'll never find the answer. We just have to trust that God has a plan. It's not an easy thing to do, but I pray that everyone who loved Shawn trusts that God had a great plan for Shawn and finds comfort in that. It's not goodbye...it's see you later! All our love to Clint, Robin, Owen, Melissa, and Maddy during this difficult time.
So sorry to hear. But knowing that Shawn is no longer having to battle is some comfort. He will be greatly missed. Way to young but we know death does not descriminate by age. Sending hugs and love to all of you. Praying you are given the peace that passes all understanding. Remembering Shawn as he journeys into God's house.
