Andrew came for a visit and brought a gift , mint, and fresh fruit and veggies for her water. Mom has been wanting more flavored beverages but feels strongly about not drinking any carbonation.
She has been doing a good with rehabilitation and walking around the facility. Today she ate a large portion of pork tenderloin at lunch. She will most likely be transitioning to Matt & Laura's home in Monclova on Wednesday. Mom seems to be getting more used to her independence and is looking forward to the transition. Her first doctor's appointment is one week from today and she will get the surgeon's take on her healing. Another good thing is that the wound is healing nicely and she may only have the wound vac for another couple weeks. God is good. We have appreciated the prayers and all the cards. She loves reading your kind words and support. 💕
