Sharon’s Story

Site created on June 13, 2018

As many of you all know at the end of May Sharon suffered a stroke and was taken to University hospital.  She was on a ventilator for the 1st 2 weeks but now is breathing on her own. She is trying to open her eyes and is  Mouthing words, but is currently unable to speak. She is still currently in the ICU and we are waiting for her to make enough improvements to be moved to rehab. This page is to help family and friends stay updated on Sharon's condition.

Sharon is now in Frazier rehab and has been making improvements. Went for a visit and she was in good spirits. She smiled at some jokes and nodded yes and no to some questions. She showed me they worked on the Itsy Bitsy Spider at therapy. She also passed her swallow test and can now have ice chips. ❤❤❤
