The wait is over!
I am officially cancer free and in remission!! Praise Jesus. The nervous energy of anticipation has been lifted =0)
I will be considered cured after 3 years in remission. One down and two to go.
I have several more appointments for vaccinations because I have a baby immune system that carried none of my original immunizations with it. That is a good thing because it means that we wiped out all of cancerous Shannon. I grafted Gunther 100% =0). I think I would still like to be called Shannon. You will at least get me to respond to you most predictably using that name! =0)
I do not take it lightly that you all have kept up with my journey. I have never felt alone but completely supported encouraged and loved. Thank you!
May your days to come be filled with the Peace of God in this strange social climate. May you stay healthy and Thankful for all that you have. May you live each day aware of the gift of life. May you be supported and prayed for by the people that God has placed in your family and in your life. May you know the impact that you had on me because you cared!
