Shane’s Story

Site created on August 3, 2022

Update: If you would like to donate to the Holeman family for any expenses they will incur through this journey, please donate through Hilary's Venmo @Hilary-Holeman or to this GoFundMe page (https://gofund.me/f630e70f), rather than the "Donate to Caring Bridge" button. (That goes directly to the Caring Bridge company as a disclaimer)

Now, hello to all family and friends. I would like to use this page to communicate with you about our sweet boy, Shane Holeman. On August 2nd, he was doing what he loves....chasing adrenaline. He was on a jet ski at Lake Rollins and was involved in an accidental collision. He was immediately airlifted via helicopter to Roseville and then again airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. He is currently under intense care and remains in critical condition. Shane sustained severe trauma to his brain, a collapsed lung and his pelvis is broken in several places. At this time, the medical team is focusing on the swelling on the brain and trying to get it to subside. Hilary and Kerry are by his side and additional family and friends are here providing support as best we can.
