Justice shared this post on social media this morning: "Last night, April 27th, 2020 at 11:07pm we had to let go of our beautiful baby girl, Selah Irene. This has been the hardest thing Gabe and I have ever gone through. Our word going into 2020 for our family this year was Fight. Selah has taught us how to fight but also to take the time to pause and praise. We couldn’t imagine going through this with out knowing the sovereignty of Jesus Christ. We are so thankful for the fight that he already won on the cross. We are mourning the thought of what could have been and our hearts are broken and heavy at that thought...We were glad to have been able to hold and kiss her as she took her last breaths and we look forward to seeing her again in heaven. We love her more than words can express...We love you sweet baby Selah Irene Kreider. 4.18.20-4.27.20."
We we want to honor Gabe and Justice as her parents not just over this last week, but over the past couple months of uncertainty regarding Selah's health. They have been steadfast in this fight, while prayerfully surrendering the life of sweet Selah into the hands of her heavenly Father.
As a way to honor the life of little Selah Irene, and the meaning of her name which Gabe and Justice prayerfully chose, I would like to encourage everyone to take some time to pause to praise and reflect on the goodness of God, and to rest in the peace of His sovereignty in our lives.
