Newest Update

Journal entry by Laura Snyder

I figured this would be the easiest place to update everyone as I have been absolutely inundated with texts/messages and calls. Please know we are blown away by the amount of love and support from each and every one of you!

Sean had surgery on October 8th to repair his shattered femur. Surgery went very well! Unfortunately they would not operate on his arm as it was shattered in too many places, so they’ve made the decision to send him to one of the best Trauma Surgeons in the country. As I write this, they are transporting him to Swedish Medical Center in Denver. His pain has been much more manageable today after having his leg repaired, his arm is still causing some pain but he is doing significantly better. So much better, he was worried about his golf clubs in the trunk of the car so he sent me on a mission to make sure they were okay. During a routine CT scan to check for any head trauma from the accident, they found a tumor on his pituitary gland- they are unsure if it is cancerous at this point, but have assured me that most of these tumors are benign. They sent him for an MRI today and we will consult with the neurosurgeon at Swedish medical center as well. Right now, the tumor appears it’s been there for a while so they are more concerned with his arm and getting that repaired at this time and less concerned with the tumor.

Throughout this whole experience we have seen God work in mighty ways, first and foremost I still have a family to come home too ❤️ Secondly, had he not had the accident we never would have found the tumor. Sean is doing incredible considering, and we know that God is going to use this in mighty, mighty ways!

I will continue to keep you all updated as I know more, and please know that we appreciate every single one of you all!
