Thank you, Adam, for your kind words. We watched your dad grow up into the beautiful man he became. We grew spiritually thru his posts on caring bridge. God has used him even through his illness. We give thanks for having Scott in our lives. He will always be in our heart. We love your family, and you all have our sympathy and prayers as you go through this next week.

Beautifully written Matthew. I will continue to pray for your Mom and all. It's sad to see a final post as I tried to read every one and pray along the way - sweet memories even there: from your Mom sitting in the parking lot so your Dad could see her during treatments, to his candid but hopeful updates and his strong and enduring, beautiful faith. This next year will be a tough one of many 1st(s) without him for your Mom and family. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. And, no answers other than being present for each other as needed and being kind to yourself. Grieving takes time. GOD bless you all.
