Journal entry by Kelly Ward —
Part 3
Scott decided he wanted to move out on his own. With caretakers provided, in late 2005, he moved into a three bedroom home in Lincoln, eventually taking on roommates. It was both fun for him and a worry for his parents. Luckily, he's close to home. He started decorating a home, adopted a kitty, built a movie collection, spent time advocating for the disabled down at the capital, and involving himself in all kinds of independent endeavors. He attended Sierra College off and on, always with a choir class somewhere on the horizon. He loved to sing.
