Journal entry by Mary Paskey —
- It’s been four months since Scotts surgery and he is getting his strength back little by little and adjusting to the medication he takes to help absorb the nutrients he eats, otherwise he looses weight.
- He had one CT scan since the surgery and no signs of any tumors.
- About 5 weeks ago he had blood work done and his level of the CA-19 was still elevated, but is trending down.
- He was able to do his hobby of having a garage sale. Planning and being able to see and talk to people made him so happy. It was fantastic to see him excited. He took precautions to protect himself from Covid, plus he sat outside. Our son Jacob did a lot of the work setting up and packing up what didn’t get sold.
- Scott will be having a 3 month check up with the oncologist; prior to the appointment he’s having a CT scan and blood work at the beginning of November. Please keep praying and sending positive thoughts. I’m praying that his CA-19 number has gone down more and that they don’t find any tumors.
- I am so happy life is so good. 🥰
