I went on my first paddle of the year on Friday, and I was talking about Scott with a friend and thinking of you both, though I didn't realize it was the day. ♥️

Dear Manny - Grateful that you marked this day, as painful as I imagine it is, and yet how it opened to the cascade of love and care that brought so much to all who knew you and Scott. Holding you both in the heart.

Hi,Manny. I remember this day also. He was working at JFK school as a sub and came into my office and said he had to leave, that he was not feeling well.
And then the journey for you two began. I think of the fall out of that day and how gracefully and compassionately this was shared with all of us. Please know you and Scott continue to be in our thoughts.

Two years. It feels like yesterday and forever ago. I wish so much he were still here. His beloved hummingbirds are back.
