Happy first Heavenly Birthday Scott <3 ,
Mary your writing is amazing, and I thank you again, for sharing your journey with Scott with all of us...again, those far, felt near... I stood by myself here in Scott's hometown , in the rain..with my lantern at Nor Bu,remembering Scott's smile, laugh, and all the fun times...after he first moved to CO, he came home for a visit, and handed me a sticker for my car...its what we do in CO, pass it ok on...kindness with a wave....the waves will be much different now that Scott is no longer with us....Waves of grief, tears, smiles and yes laughs...as we all remember our times with him through the years. The waves can be HUGE, and come out of nowhere...a smell..song..place...ride those waves...gently, and remember....just dont dwell on the wave...for this Scott wouldn't want or wish that on any of us.....
HUGS to you Mary, Lars and James...
and to his BIG BROTHERS Glenn and Lloyd
Cousins ....and his BEST FRIEND Lars

When I was walking out of the candlelight vigil that night, I looked up at the moon. It was a crescent and looked just like a smile. I thought to myself, “ That’s Scott smiling down on all of us.”.
