Hey there from the Hilligus homestead in Spring Hill, KS.
First of all Praise God for his hand of mercy and watch care. He has spared us from so much and helped us with so much more.
So we are both at home doing our best to help each other with our daily needs and RESTING the rest of the time. Rest seems be our best friend right now. Our injuries list if interested are both of us had to have our Spleens removed due to laceration or being crushed, We both have multiple rib fractures and Jennie has a broken upper arm. NO other surgeries are planned at this point.
We have been overwhelmed with numbers of people that have offered to help and pray during this past 15 days.
Thank You all so much for your prayers, thoughts and visits. You have blessed us in so many ways.
The neighbors and others have kicked in to take care of the lawn which is really nice to know that is handled (looks way better than when I did it). The meals have been and will be a God send. The cards, the flowers, the texts, the PM's, the calls, the FB posts have all been so encouraging to us in our recovery. We are strengthened by it all.
Our Kids and Parents have been a huge help and we could not have stayed out of REHAB without them.
So far so good but we have many weeks to go. PLEASE hang in there with us on the prayer. It we believe is critical to us both.
