Just got done visiting Dad, and he has made some progress since yesterday. It was nice to see him sitting up in a chair.  They still have him in the icu, I think they were waiting on a bed in a regular hospital room. They are talking discharge from the hospital with in 48 hours as long as he continues to make progress, and are assessing if he is appropriate for inpatient physical therapy for a bit to get his strength back and to continute to monitor his progress. Lots of recovery left, but the neurologist made it sound hopeful for a full recovery mentally.
