Journal entry by Jean Ackerman —
Thank you everyone for all the kind words they mean so much to myself and my brothers. Scott was a very loved person for those of you who didn’t know him he had a handicap of slow learning disability. This didn’t hold him back he would try most anything to prove he could be just like anyone else. I’ve been reading on Facebook how he was the responsible child in the neighborhood and kept a lot of the kids out of trouble.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday January 19th at Church of St Rita’s in Cottage Grove. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 with a celebration of life at 12. There will be a luncheon served at the church after the service.
I hope you will be able to join us in celebrating Scott’s life
