Journal entry by Arlene Sperandeo

It’s been a while since I posted, but thought I would share that 2 years post Saylor’s last chemo, he is doing phenomenal! His last bloodwork in January looked great, and his transition to 6th grade has been much smoother than I expected.
He has been in occupational therapies for over a year, which has been an absolute necessity following the effects of chemo. Now that I have returned to work it’s been a challenge to get him to his sessions, so we have paused for now, but he’s been resisting going anyhow.

Life seems to be returning to “normal”and is great to see him thriving and being a kid.
